2003 DSC Annual Meeting - April 13, 2003

Deep Spring Sangha Meeting
Sunday, April 13, 1:30-3:30 PM

Thirteen members of the sangha gathered to learn the state of the sangha as reported by six board members:

Ann Barden opened with a review of the history that brings us to the present day. There has been great progress but uncertainties remain. Deep Spring needs all sangha members to make their ideas known. She urged all of us to use our emails, read the WEB site, and visit the office.

Martha Zingo gave us a financial review. We aren't raising exactly enough to pay the rent, but we have a healthy bank account and are not going to go broke. If we can pull off a $3,000-$5,000 fundraiser, we will make it this year.

Jane Grace Bowman reported on the newsletter and spoke to the need for two more board members and for more volunteer help.

Dianne Austin spoke to the building usage policies still being formed.

Jackie Deron gave a summary of the recent retreat survey and she explained the work of that committee.

Finally, Dottie Coyne showed the group the large office calendars which indicate Deep Spring activities and classes in house and across the nation.

Questions were addressed at the end of the presentations.

Respectfully submitted,
D. A. Coyne
