April 30, 2014 Wednesday Afternoon, Emerald Isle Retreat, Akashic Exercises in the PoolAaron: My love to you all. Thank you for coming out here in your bathing suits on a cold windy afternoon. I will not keep you in the water too long, but the pool is warm. We're going to break into groups of three. When you first get into the water I want you to space your groups of three around the pool. Then I want you to make the decision, you're going to simply walk in a random course around the pool, not hitting anybody else, not hitting any other group of three. Holding hands, not hitting any other group of three. This first time you are not trying to do this in a coordinated way. Each of you is the boss, each of you is an ego. “Oh, I know which way to go,” with people pulling the other way. So just a few minutes of trying this chaos. This is the way you normally live your life. Then we'll switch. In your group of three, decide which one of you will be the leadermaybe the middle person, maybe one end. See if that makes it easier. Then I want the group of three to stop and hold hands, connect together. I want you to come to that place where you as a group are 3 minds and hearts but agreed to cooperate. And then I want you to walk around the pool dodging the other groups, moving briskly. But I want you to feel the difference. Finally, join hands, connect deeply as one heart/ mind and within the akashic field, not separate also from the other groups. Then begin to move. That's Exercise 1. Exercise 2. Have you done the exercise we call the human knot? People gather in a circle like this. Reach hands out in odd ways. Reach all the way out across the circle. And then we unravel it. We'll try it in groups of 6 first, two groups of 6. Then we'll see if we want to move to a group of 12. First you try to unravel it from the ego. I want you to feel how that feels, “Oh, I know what to do. No, you're doing it wrong,” and so forth. Then I want you to just stop, all 6 of you in the circle. Really connect. The pool makes it an easy place to do it because you duck under and over the arms very easily. After you try it with 6, working in the akashic field, then we'll try it with all 12 of you, one big knot. Hands may swivel. You can't break hands completely. You want to get through... (demonstrating) We don't break hands completely, but if the hand is like this, the hand can swivel...No pain, nobody in awkward positions.
Barbara: I wish I had a video of these exercises. People really felt the difference. The human know with 13 of us (I participated too) was profound. It was like a dance, hands moving together to invite and allow movement and change. And it was delightful in the warm pool. We continued for an hour. (recording ends) |
